(29 April 2021) London, UK- Elavon, which is part of U.S. Bank, has been named one of the U.K.’s Best Workplaces™ in 2021 for the second year running by Great Places to Work, a global organisation that benchmarks workplace culture. Elavon’s designation this year is in the large organisation category, and U.S. Bank’s Global Corporate Trust and Opayo by Elavon (formally Sage Pay, acquired by Elavon in 2020) are also recognised in the honour.
Elavon was benchmarked against large UK-based companies on a range of criteria for culture, management and benefits based on employee feedback and an independent audit. Elavon was highlighted as a centre for Excellence in Wellbeing after being measured on six workplace criteria: working environment, financial security, mental and physical health, interpersonal relationships, work-life balance and fulfilment.
During the COVID pandemic, Elavon supported employees as they worked remotely, prioritising health and safety and encouraging flexibility. New remote learning was made available and included courses on mindfulness and stress management, improving personal resilience, diversity, equity & inclusion and enhancing technology skills. Additionally, employees participated in virtual walks, online events, Courageous Conversations, and Yammer groups for encouragement and support.
