LONDON (24 April 2023) – Global payments provider Elavon Merchant Services has launched Elavon EPOS for small business owners in the UK and Ireland.

Elavon EPOS is the next generation, all-in-one payments and business analytics platform that empowers small business owners to better manage their operations.

Elavon EPOS will be crucial for small businesses accepting face-to-face transactions, with the all-in-one device giving business owners a simple, fast solution to handle increased sales, next-day funding, and cloud-based analytics giving access from anywhere on any device.

With a revived hospitality sector, this is particularly good news for restaurants, bars, and other small businesses, and for the customer experience.

Hemlata Narasimhan, Elavon Merchant Services President in Europe, says, “The Elavon EPOS platform puts the power of making solid, data-supported business decisions in the hands of small business owners. It’s simple to set up and simple to use – with their payments sorted, small business operators can focus on other important areas to ensure their business succeeds.”

Elavon EPOS will offer a unique pricing plan for hardware that significantly lowers the initial investment small business owners make in their point-of-sale experience. For £62 or €62 per month, small business owners can rent a full bundle of equipment to begin accepting payments and managing their operations with minimal initial expense.

At launch, Elavon EPOS is offered through two bundled packages for Restaurant and Retail businesses.

Bundles include:

  • Elavon EPOS POS station
  • Receipt printer
  • Barcode scanner
  • Card Reader (terminal rental separate cost to bundle)
  • Cash Drawer

Hardware and accessories are also available a la carte to customise to meet a business owner’s needs. The out-of-the-box setup can either be done do-it-yourself or installed by the Elavon deployment team in as little as 90 minutes.

“Small businesses are a driving force in our economies, so we want to give them the tools to thrive,” says Narasimhan. “Elavon EPOS is ultimately about making payments at the point-of-sale simple and convenient, so merchants can ensure a smooth experience for their customers.”

“We’re looking forward to bringing this solution to thousands of small business customers across the UK and Ireland.”

The launch of Elavon EPOS in the UK and Ireland follows its successful launch in North America last year, where more than 1800 businesses are now using the platform.
