Mr. Kotwal is Vice Chairman, Payment Services, of U.S. Bancorp. Appointed to the position in March, 2015, he brings 26 years’ experience in International Financial Services and has managed a number of businesses including Consumer Banking, Payments & Cards, Wealth Management, Insurance, Mortgages, Deposits and Lending in 30 different countries across North and South America, Asia Pacific and Europe. Prior to his appointment, Kotwal served as Executive Vice President, Retail Banking Products and Services with TD Bank Group and also served as President, International for EFD│eFunds Corporation, a leader in electronic payment processing. For 18 years his impressive career at American Express included various senior management positions at American Express in New York, Europe and Asia Pacific, including divisional CFO and Executive Director & Region Head. Kotwal is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance.
President of North America
As President of North America at Elavon, Guy Harris has direct responsibility for the leadership of Elavon in North America, where he oversees strategy, profit and loss and growth. Prior to taking on his current role, Guy served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Elavon’s Western, Central and Southern European regions. In this role, Guy successfully grew revenue by 15 percent, per annum, through the employment of a value-based, customer-focused approach. Before Elavon, Guy served as Vice President of Global Sales for Misys. He holds an Ordinary National Diploma in Business Studies from Kingston College.
General Manager Europe - EMS
Hannah Fitzsimons has over 20 years’ experience in the European payments industry, providing outstanding leadership to high performing sales and customer management teams. Hannah joined Elavon 11 years ago as Head of International Sales and in 2011, her significant achievements in that role were recognised by her appointment as European Business Development Director. She subsequently served as Country Manager for the UK and International Corporate business, leading more than 120 employees and taking on responsibility for strategy, revenue and business execution across the largest market and revenue centre in our European business.
Hannah is currently acting as General Manager, Europe, where she is responsible for driving growth in regional performance, provides functional leadership to the European Leadership Team and represents Elavon Europe on the Senior Leadership Team. Hannah is committed to personal development for all Elavon Europe employees, and this year she’s participating in the Accelerated Development Programme at London Business School.
Senior Vice President and General Counsel
As Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Mindy Doster oversees Elavon’s Global Legal Department comprised of attorneys in the United States and the United Kingdom. Prior to Elavon, Mindy worked at Long, Aldridge & Norman, as an associate and as a law clerk for the Honorable Robert L. Vining, Jr., Senior U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia. Mindy’s community involvement activities include work with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and Pro Bono Partnership Atlanta. Mindy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from Vanderbilt University School of Law.
Chief Strategy Officer
As Elavon’s Chief Strategy Officer, Brian Mahony has global responsibility for Strategic Planning, Product & Innovation, Customer Experience and Corporate Marketing. Prior to Elavon, Brian worked as a consultant for Vision Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In these roles, he helped executive teams refine strategy, and delivered business and technology programs in the finance, entertainment, and high tech business sectors. Brian holds a Bachelor of Engineering from University College Cork and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University.
Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer, Thomas Phillips maintains global responsibility for all aspects of Global Systems and Technology at Elavon. Prior to joining Elavon, Tom worked at Citigroup as the Technology Product Management Head for Global Cards and Personal Lending in Singapore. Tom also served as Citigroup’s Asia Regional Technology Head spearheading the delivery of consumer technology across the Asia Pacific Region. Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and German from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA and a Master of Business Administration from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ.
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer at Elavon, Brad Herring leads the company’s global finance organization, which includes Financial Planning and Analysis, Accounting, Settlement and Billing, and Corporate Development. Before assuming his current position, Brad was the CFO of the Digital Banking Group for Fiserv overseeing the financial aspects of Fiserv’s online banking and online payment businesses. Prior to Fiserv, Brad has held leadership positions in Finance and Operations at Equifax, Delta Air Lines and ING. Brad has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
EVP and Head of Global Risk & Control
As Head of Global Risk & Control at Elavon, Laura Willson leads all operational, regulatory and risk strategies to ensure compliance for Elavon’s operations globally. Prior to assuming this role, Laura served as Senior Vice President of Global Financial Settlement, leading a global shared services team responsible for balancing, recording and reconciling Elavon’s over 3.5 billion annual transactions. During her over eleven years with Elavon, Laura also served in the capacity of Vice President, Financial Settlement where she played an integral role in the successful SOX Implementation and in transitioning the North America Financial Settlement team to a global functional based structure. Active in community issues, Laura serves on the W Circle Advisory Council for Womenetics, an organization focused on developing women leaders. She is a certified Public Accountant, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, with a concentration in Accounting, from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).
