Two MyOpayo environments are available - test and live. To test your integration, you will need to log into test MyOpayo:
The administration log in details for test MyOpayo and live MyOpayo are identical. Be sure to log in the correct environment.
The administration log in details are sent by email to our vendors when their account is initially set up.
If you're a developer, you will need to ask the vendor to share the log in details with you. Our log in details are made up of vendor name, username and password.
The administrator account only allows you to create and manage other users in MyOpayo.
You will not be able to view any transactions when logged in. You must therefore create your own user account before you are able to access the real MyOpayo system.
Once logged into test MyOpayo using your administration login details, you will be able to create a user.
Select the settings tab from the options along the top followed by users. The user administration screen should appear.
Click on the new user button and enter the details of the user you wish to create. You will need to give the user sufficient privileges to process transactions and refunds. The user details will only work in test MyOpayo for testing purposes. You will need to recreate your users at a later stage in live MyOpayo.
When creating any user it is important to remember to add an email address. By adding an email address the user will be able to request password reminders and be able to receive news and updates from Opayo about the system. To find out more about users and emails have a look at our article.
Log out of test MyOpayo and log back in using the new user details you just created.
Before you can start processing online payments through your live account, you will need to process a test transaction through test MyOpayo. The test is mainly to familiarise yourself with our systems and ensure the integration was implemented properly.
Go on your website and process a transaction using the details below. The test account has no connection to the banks live card and address details will not work on our platform.
You can use any of the card details below to process your test transaction.

Within your MyOpayo you are able to process transactions through your account.
MyOpayo has a virtual terminal available to you where you can directly enter transactional details and process a transaction.
In order to process a transaction you will need to log into your MyOpayo account.
Before doing so however, you must first ensure that the user you plan on processing the transaction with has the privileges to do so.
Before you can use the virtual terminal in MyOpayo you must first have active on your account a mail order telephone order (MOTO) merchant number.
If you do not have a mail order telephone order merchant number on your account you will not be able to process transactions through your MyOpayo.
Now that you have logged into your account you will be able to select the terminal tab along the top of your MyOpayo.
You will then be able to enter the details of your shopper directly into MyOpayo.
Now that you are entering the details of your shopper into the terminal screen you are able to enter and amend a number of details for the transaction.
If your shopper would like to have a different delivery address added to their order you are able to do so.
Alongside adding additional addresses to your order, you are able to change the transaction reference, and implement specific fraud prevention checks.
By clicking the advanced tab you will be able to make the changes to your transaction reference and fraud checks.
Once all of your shoppers personal details have been entered you will only need to enter the card details into the terminal in order to complete the order.
If you would like to process your transaction in another currency you have the option to select from the available currencies from a drop down list next to the amount on the card details screen.
You will only be able to select from currencies that are supported on your Opayo account.
Important - If you do not have a merchant number for the currency you would like to process you will not be able to do so. Opayo will only allow vendors to process transactions in currencies that they have valid merchant numbers available.
After you have entered the card details into the terminal you will now need to select the make payment button.
You have now processed a transaction through your MyOpayo.
In this guide we will look at the tools that help with reducing the risk of fraud
